Starting out slow to getting really fast part one of demo is almost complete. Part one of demo is getting the tower down to 40ft tall. To date they have torn down more then half of the tower. Over 130ft of the tower now lays on the ground crushed into a fine powder. Today they reached the begging of the brink liner which is suppose to slow them down but nothing has been said yet on this progress. The 250 ton crane will be removed between Tues or Thurs. The date is not final due to not knowing when the crane work will be complete. Progress is great and the workers are ahead of schedule! Great jobs guys!!!

Be Aware of Korrekt.com

This site is a site created by a man who I personally think is insane. Today he went to the demo of the smokestack and protested to my father and the media about a whole conspiracy thing. We then went home and looked online on this guy's website and found pictures of our neighborhood and there were even pictures of my house on the site. WEIRD!

Smokestack Demo Begins
For many years a 235ft smokestack has been towering over Concord. But today it took its final call as a concrete puliverizer took large chunks out of the side of the smokestack. Demo began at 8:10am this morning and recently stopped for the day at 3:00pm. Today they had great success by removing the first 25-30ft of the tower. The demo will take a total of three weeks to complete. The crane will be used to get the tower down to 40ft then they will take it down and remove the rest with a smaller more compact concrete puliverizer. There has been say that bricks have been passed out; they are looking into the fact that there maybe led in some of the bricks.
